Integral in any design is the story of the client. It is a compilation of the essence of who they are, where they have been and where they are going. The color palette of this room was warm and inviting as its a room that flanks a kitchen. The palette of browns with accents of deep orange lend itself to a welcome. Treasures and trinkets from the clients travels including antiques and carved in lay music boxes place meaningful accessories in the room. Art work reminding them of a place long ago travelled graces the fireplace. Animal prints are a mainstay of my design aesthetic and this throw brought meaning of memorable travels to Africa. A custom made centerpiece pulled the colors from around the room creating understated elegance with a personal touch.
